This attractive patient had composite bonding done years ago on her 6 front teeth. Over the years it had stained and chipped, and her teeth appeared to flare out and look crooked. The plastic had become dull, opaque, and lifeless. We placed 6 porcelain crowns on her upper front teeth and were able to correct the stained color and straighten her teeth, including uprighting the midline tilt of her 2 front teeth. In addition, the ceramic restorations created the translucency and characterization in color and texture that mimics natural teeth. The difference between her “before” and “after” smile is profound!
